Welcome

Hey yall welcome to my website.  Feel free to explore and leave your comments or suggestions.  I wanted to build this webite because I love animals.  I have my dog Aiden and she is the best dog ever.  We don't know what we would do without her.  She is a member of the family.  One of my favorite places to go is Petco cause thats where the pets go lol.  Plus we can all go in there and its awesome.  I have always had pets my whole life and I always will.  We just hadd a baby last year and we were a little concerned about bringing the new baby home to Aiden cause she hadn't really been around babys that much.  She gets really jealouse of other dogs and she always attacks them if I pet another dog.  She is only 7lbs!!! I am surprised that nobody has ate her yet.  She was raised with St. Bernards and boxers and she was the head of the house.  If one of the other dogs stepped outa line she was all over them.  One day she did almost die tho trying to protect the kids that were playing at our house.  A pitbull came into the yard and she noticed.  The other dog was hanging around where the kids were playing and it started barking at the kids and that set little Aiden off.  She took off down the hill running at full speed kicking up dust as she ran as fast as she could to protect her kids.  Unlike the other dogs tho the pitbull didn't back down and neither did Aiden.  She launched herself at the pitbull and the fight was on.  The kids were running away and all you could hear were snarls and screams coming from the dust cloud.  I went running down the hill but by the time I got there one of the other adults had already stepped in and pulled Aiden out of harms way not before the damage was done tho.  She looked alright on the outside with just a few puncture wounds around her belly.  I could tell that she wasn't acting right tho.  She just laid on the floor and didnt want to move or eat.  I couldn't figure out what was wrong with her so I asked one of the older kids that were there and all he said was I thought that dog was gonna eat Aiden. So I asked what he ment and he replied the other dog had her all the way in it's mouth and was shaking her.  The pitbull grabed her from the top around her spin and stomache.  At that point I called the vet and to my amazement all the vet said was "well she is a little dog and most little dogs shake so I wouldn't worry about it." Hmm WOW I sat there for a minute and then the vet said if you want to spent the money to do a pointless exploritory surgery just to see if there was any internal damage then you can.  About an hour later we were at the vet and I admited Aiden into the pet hospital.  She was schedualed for surgery at 2 pm so I went home and waited.  At about 2:30 the vet called and I was relieved because I was expecting her to say oh shes fine you can come pick her up now but that wasn't the case.  She was very blunt and I could here the urgency in her voice as she said she has a ruptured kidney and we need to operate immediatly.  My heart sank and I remember my eyes filling up with tears as I told her to do what ever she had to to save my dog.  Three days and almost $900 later I got to bring my little dog home.  4 years later she is happy, healthy and spoiled.  Shes the best lil dog I could ever ask for.
